Keskutaksi Oy made the decision to implement the Optigo platform Movit in spring 2021. The system started handling social sector trips in the provinces of Southern Ostrobothnia, Satakunta and Ostrobothnia on January 1, 2022. Today, in addition to Social rides, Movit also provides rides in accordance with the Disability Services Act(non-emergency patient transport) in South Ostrobothnia, Satakunta and Central Finland, as well as school trips in the Seinäjoki city area. The system has been intensively developed during 2022 and the development continues. Movit also enables Keskustaksi to manage its own payment traffic, and this is a great advantage for the company. In the development work of the system, the focus has been on the car side, so to speak. Now it has been sent to develop also facilitating the work of intermediaries. The development work has progressed in good cooperation.
